So you have found your prince charming or your perfect princess, bling has been exchanged and now the fun begins! But where do you start? If the mere thought of wedding plans leaves you scratching your head or searching the fridge for the emergency block of chocolate and bottle of wine then you have come to the right place because here at modern weddings we want to help. Let’s face it, not everyone had thousands of dollars to spend on their big day so our mission is to provide practical tips and suggestions on how to pull off an amazing wedding on any kind of budget while keeping most of your sanity.

Everyone has different ideas of what a perfect wedding entails. So it’s safe to say that you will come across at least one negative Nancy or etiquette Nazi during some part of the wedding preparation.  We suggest you take a big deep breathe, take a step back and not punch this person in the face. At the end of the day it’s YOUR wedding, so do what makes you and your partner happy. By all means listen to the advice given but you have the final say. So basically what I’m trying to say is even when your mum is having a fit because you’re not inviting your second cousin and and her idiot husband or your nanna is disgusted that your wedding dress isn’t white remember ITS YOUR WEDDING DAY!!
